Our Grand Opening!

After months of collaboration, preparation, and a ton of really hard work, we are so happy to announce the grand opening of The Big Picture Guides!!

Our business started as an idea that popped into Chris’s head about a year and a half ago.  It’s been a long journey making that idea become a reality.  At first, the idea sat on the back burner for awhile, but Chris couldn’t help thinking on it constantly.  By the time his idea had become fully fleshed out, Chris and I had stumbled upon each other (much to our delight!).  With me at his side, we began to work together to finally transform his idea into an actual business.

Chris made the website (a feat I haven’t the foggiest idea how to accomplish), and from there we began to create our first Big Picture Guides.  The first photo shoot went shakily, but toward the end, we finally began to gain a better grasp on what we needed to do.  Our next shoot was much more fruitful; with the help of a couple amazing friends, we were able to capture the bulk of the photos we needed to develop our first major visual guide.  Unbeknownst to the both of us, creating this product would take weeks straight of doing little else besides holing up in Chris’s office to work on the book.

Somehow, we managed to have a blast together through all the hard work, and we are so proud of our finished products!  We hope you enjoy and benefit from them, and sincerely thank you for taking part in our grand opening by showing interest in our new business!
